It will also give you the chance to meet and make friends with a number of lawyers who might be able to get you a job when you are done with school.

Even if you decide not to become a lawyer you will have a good chance of moving up laterally within a company. Many investment banks, insurance companies, or other major businesses look kindly on those who work hard and do a great job.


The base pay for a paralegal is between $20,000 to $22,000 a year. This is only when they work at a smaller firm and work normal hours. Most paralegals will be required to work late into the night especially on the harder and more involved cases. The great thing about this is that you will get paid overtime and could make as much as $60,000 a year.
